Accommodation

We have reserved a limited number of bed & breakfast student rooms at St Hilda’s College for Aptamers2014 delegates, which can be booked directly by contacting the college accommodation office by email on: Miss Sarah Brett, sarah.brett@st-hildas.ox.ac.uk, or Ms Nicky Charles nicky.charles@st-hildas.ox.ac.uk. If you having difficulty in reaching the college by email, please let us know, or contact the college by telephone on +44(0)1865 276888.

We take no responsibility for direct accommodation bookings with the college, which should be contacted in case of any comments/complaints.

Staying oustside St Hilda’s College

There are several hotels and B&Bs on a few minutes walking distance from St Hilda’s College, in particular in Iffley Road, St Clement’s Street and High Street. However, please note that March/April is a very busy time of the year and accommodation can be difficult to find and can also be expensive, if not booked early.

Based on comments from past delegates we strongly advise that you avoid Nanford Guest House (137 Iffley Road) and Balkan Lodge Hotel (315 Iffley Road).

ISIS Guest house (45-53 Iffley Road) generally receives positive comments.

Below is a selection of websites that give further information about places to stay in Oxford. Participants are responsible for making direct contact with the accommodation providers. Furthermore, this information is for the benefit of the participants only. We have no association with any of these organisations or websites.
