Due to the ongoing uncertain circumstances, the need for social distancing, and considering that air travel restrictions may remain in place foreseeable, our 8th annual aptamers meeting – Aptamers 2021 – will be held virtually.
As a lot of our delegates are from around the globe, finding suitable times for the virtual meeting to suite everyone is difficult. Therefore, to accommodate the various time zones, the meeting be held over two days – Day 1 for Europe/Americas and Day 2 for Asia/Australasia. However, as with our September 2020 virtual meeting, we hope that most of our enthusiastic aptamer researchers will attend both days.
Each day will consist of approximately 4-5 hours of talks by invited senior researchers, and short research talks by emerging researchers and students. There will also be an opportunity to present posters digitally and flash-talks by poster presenters.
There is no alternative to face-to-face meetings, and so we hope very much to be back for our annual congregation at Oxford as soon as possible.
